Gentlewavetechnology is the most advanced, and up-to-date disinfection technique available. With Gentlewave, based on published research, the root canals are more thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with less aggressive instrumentation. This allows for a minimal altercation to the tooth, decreasing the potential development of fractures and procedural errors. Gentlewave uses advanced physics and chemistry to cavitate chemicals within the tooth, and to the apical terminus of the tooth, cleaning out debris, and bacteria, traditional instrumentation, and disinfection techniques leave behind. Based on published research, with the use of Gentlewave, the success rate for endodontic treatment can be as high as 98% for healing.
